Role Overview
This role is open to applicants currently working within an NHS Trust within the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Integrated Care System (HIOW ICS).
The Patient Safety and Governance Team at Hampshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a quality, safety and compliance officer.
The successful candidate will provide effective and efficient administrative support to the patient safety, risk and governance team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and administer Trust patient safety and governance meetings by booking meetings, preparing papers, sending agendas, accurate minute taking and collating and tracking actions from previous minutes.
- Provide administrative support to the governance functions within the Trust, which includes clinical effectiveness, learning from deaths, incident reporting and learning, health and safety, policy management, risk management and the implementation of the national patient safety syllabus.
- Provide officer support to the clinical effectiveness and quality assurance team through participation in data collection and data entry.
- Support the design and publication of Trust quality, safety and compliance publications, using a variety of IT software packages.
The successful candidate will be part of a small, friendly and dedicated patient safety and governance team. This post is based primarily at our Winchester site, with the expectation of travelling to other sites, if required.
