Role Overview

Location: Flexible working options available

Compensation: Competitive salary with bonus and comprehensive benefits
Working Hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Hybrid Work Model

Key Responsibilities:

As part of the Vodafone UK Networks team, you will contribute to the continuous enhancement of our network, connecting millions across the nation. Your role as a Release Train Engineer (RTE) will be pivotal in guiding and facilitating the delivery of Agile Release Trains (ART) within our Digital Product portfolio as we adopt and implement the SAFe framework. This position emphasizes setting standards for Agile delivery excellence aligned with SAFe principles.

Your Responsibilities Include:
  • Leading and facilitating essential planning and delivery events to ensure ART success.
  • Continuously improving and optimizing ART processes to assist teams in delivering value alongside Product Managers and System Engineers.
  • Managing stakeholder relationships and addressing impediments to ART delivery to mitigate risks and drive improvements.
  • Collaborating with Product and Digital Engineering teams to enhance the Digital delivery process and value streams.
  • Tracking and reporting key performance metrics, including burn-down and burn-up charts, to support decision-making.
  • Maintaining budget visibility for the ART and supporting Lean budgeting processes.
  • Championing a culture of continuous learning and psychological safety, while developing Agile training initiatives.
Qualifications:

We seek candidates with a proven track record in leading ARTs, possessing a deep understanding of establishing and managing high-performing delivery teams.

Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills are essential, along with the ability to simplify complex issues effectively.

As a servant leader, you will coach and support teams in delivering value through a culture of continuous improvement.

Experience with SAFe tools and techniques, including PI planning, Agile delivery methods, and DevOps practices, is highly desirable.
