The Role: Health & Wellness Advisor

As a Health & Wellness Advisor at Bupa Clinics, you will play a vital role in guiding our customers towards a healthier lifestyle. You will leverage your expertise and passion for health to provide personalized support and education.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver comprehensive health assessments to customers, ensuring accurate record-keeping throughout the process.
  • Promote healthy living practices in accordance with Bupa's clinical guidelines, empowering individuals to make informed decisions about their well-being.
  • Conduct a range of clinical tests, including body composition analysis, spirometry, and blood pressure monitoring, providing valuable insights into customer health status.
  • Develop individualized lifestyle action plans using motivational interviewing techniques, fostering behavior change and promoting long-term health improvements.
  • Provide post-assessment support through phone calls, reinforcing positive changes and ensuring customers have the tools they need to succeed.
Skills & Qualifications:
  • A degree in exercise physiology, sports science, or nutrition is essential for this role.
  • Proven experience in customer-facing roles is required, demonstrating excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Prior experience performing health assessments or measurements in a fitness or medical setting is highly desirable.
  • A meticulous approach to information recording and adherence to clinical guidelines is crucial.
  • The ability to build rapport with customers, tailoring your approach to their individual needs and preferences.
  • Empathy and the ability to motivate customers to make positive changes towards a healthier lifestyle are essential qualities.
