About the Role:

We have openings at The Crescent Day Service, dedicated to supporting adults with learning disabilities and complex needs.

At the Crescent Day Services, we provide Postural Management and a variety of activities, collaborating closely with our caregivers, health professionals, and multidisciplinary teams.

We are looking for highly motivated individuals to assist participants in engaging in meaningful activities that lead to positive outcomes.

Ideal candidates will be compassionate, possess effective communication skills, and be motivated to ensure high-quality care and support is delivered.

Responsibilities include co-keyworking a small group of service users.

Candidates should have strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills to perform their duties effectively.

Support with personal care needs is essential, ensuring overall hygiene while promoting individuals' independence, choice, dignity, health, and wellbeing.

Previous experience in a day service or social care setting is preferred, or a solid understanding of achieving the best outcomes for individuals with profound and multiple learning disabilities or dementia.

With a proactive attitude, you will play a crucial role in the development and promotion of the Day Services.

Teamwork is essential, and you will promote Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion (EDI) within the team. You should be comfortable working both collaboratively and independently as needed.

Regular supervision and access to ongoing training and development will be provided to enhance your career in Adult Social Care.
