Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Medicines Management Assistant to join our team at Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our pharmacy team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective management of medicines across our services.

Main Duties

As a Pharmacy Medicines Management Assistant, you will be responsible for working under the supervision of Medicines Management Technicians and Pharmacists to carry out near-bedside dispensing, patient interviews, and counselling for discharge. You will also be involved in the governance of medicines through regular audits and contribute to the development of our pharmacy team.

Person Specification

We are looking for a candidate with significant experience in hospital pharmacy, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team. You will also need to have a strong understanding of medicines management and governance, as well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a busy environment.
