About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Application Solutions Specialist to join our team at ERIKS. As a key member of our sales division, you will be responsible for developing and executing business plans to drive sales growth in the defined region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop in-depth knowledge of the defined region and its associated industries to generate business plans for the sale of Hydraulics components, systems, and repairs.
  • Provide field-based support to Service Centres and Customer Site operations within the sales divisions of Industrial Distribution, Integrated Solutions & Transportation.
  • Grow project & product sales in line with defined budgets.
  • Demonstrate to clients the benefits of working with ERIKS for all their requirements for Hydraulics and associated services.
  • Ensure that key decision-makers in customers can clearly identify the value ERIKS brings to them over competitors.
  • Provide weekly and monthly reports as required.
  • Develop professionally presented commercial and technical proposals to customers for both standard and non-standard items within the ERIKS Flow & Equipment Services product portfolio.
  • Utilize ERIKS business systems to ensure quotations are aligned to sell price models and captured within the systems.
About You

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with a strong background in Hydraulics/Pneumatics applications. You will have:

  • GCSE (or equivalent) English Language and Mathematics.
  • Modern technical or commercial apprenticeship, A level, or relevant NVQ level 3 or equivalent.
  • Degree HNC/D or demonstrable equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Experience in a technical biased role, such as engineering, product, or solution sales.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English).
  • Ability to work effectively individually and within a team, both in person and remotely.
  • Flexible attitude with a curiosity to learn and develop.
  • Focused on quality with an eye for detail.
  • Ambition to win and develop.
