About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ICT Network Manager to join our team at Dorset Police. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for managing, monitoring, and optimizing our ICT Network across both Devon & Cornwall and Dorset Police.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide advice on the feasibility and impact of strategic and tactical changes to ICT Network services.
  • Own and manage the Voice and Data Network area, working closely with our Managed Service provider.
  • Develop and implement network infrastructure solutions to meet the needs of our organization.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest network technologies and best practices to ensure our network remains secure and efficient.
Requirements
  • Previous experience in ICT Networks, ideally with related qualifications.
  • Strong understanding of network infrastructure, cybersecurity, and IT service management.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Flexibility to work in a hybrid role, with regular home working opportunities.
