Principal Drainage Engineer Opportunity

Penguin Recruitment is working with a leading UK-based consultancy to find a highly skilled Principal Drainage Engineer to lead their team in Poole.

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned drainage engineer to take on a leadership role and contribute to the success of a reputable consultancy.

About the Role
  • Lead a team of drainage engineers on various projects, including highway, drainage, and residential infrastructure projects.
  • Develop and implement detailed drainage and highway designs for Section 38, Section 104, and Section 278 schemes.
  • Collaborate with clients, developers, and business associates to deliver high-quality projects.
  • Conduct flood risk assessments and provide expert advice on drainage solutions.
  • Prepare and present reports to stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Strong academic background in Civil or Environmental Engineering, including a BSc and MSc.
  • Chartered status or working towards it.
  • Experience in detailed drainage and highway designs using AutoCAD, Microdrainage, Hec-Ras, and FEH.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
