Job Title: Principal Drainage Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Drainage Engineer to lead our team in Poole. As a key member of our Civil and Structural Engineering consultancy, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality drainage designs and projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development of detailed drainage and highway designs for Section 38, Section 104, and Section 278 schemes.
  • Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements and deliver solutions that meet their needs.
  • Manage and mentor a team of engineers to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to deliver projects successfully.
  • Conduct Flood Risk Assessments and designs for commercial and residential developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, housing developers, and business associates.
Requirements:
  • Strong academic background in Engineering, including a BSc and MSc in Civil Engineering or Environmental Engineering.
  • Chartered status or working towards it.
  • Experience working within a UK-based consultancy, completing detailed drainage and road designs.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microdrainage, Hec-Ras, and FEH.
