The Team
The Schroder Solutions team comprises over 200 experts, with the Analyst position primarily dedicated to Outsourced Chief Investment Officer (OCIO) clients within the Client Solutions division. This team is responsible for managing the assets of several strategic clients' pension schemes, which includes providing investment recommendations, overseeing manager selections, and advising on asset allocation adjustments.

Role Overview
The Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting investment strategies, managing risks, and engaging with clients for significant OCIO accounts within our portfolio. Key responsibilities include conducting strategic analyses, managing liability risks, and creating materials to enhance client communications.

Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with lead Strategists to deliver comprehensive investment services, including:
- Designing tailored investment strategies
- Developing innovative solutions in response to market fluctuations
- Cultivating and maintaining client relationships
- Produce high-quality client documentation within specified timelines.
- Perform quantitative analyses utilizing our proprietary strategy development tools.
- Contribute to the identification of new business opportunities.
- Assist in monitoring investment strategies for pension schemes.

Qualifications and Experience
- A solid understanding of UK Defined Benefit (DB) pension scheme assets and liabilities, encompassing various asset classes and the application of derivatives for risk management.
- Familiarity with pension scheme investment strategies.
- Basic knowledge of current trends and issues within the pension scheme industry.
- Previous experience in investment consultancy, asset management, or actuarial firms is advantageous.
