Job Summary

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Bank Officer to lead the coordination and management of studies associated with the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank. Main Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of studies associated with the Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Tissue Bank
  • Oversight of the work undertaken by staff working on the EH&IBD portfolio under the remit of the Royal Devon Tissue Bank
  • Develop and implement effective strategies to ensure the successful delivery of studies and projects
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and coordination of activities
About the Role

This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, and the ideal candidate will have a strong background in tissue banking, research, and project management. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the coordination and management of studies, developing and implementing effective strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams. The role requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
