Lead Exeter Hepatology and Gastroenterology Tissue Bank Officer

The Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Bank Coordinator and Project Lead to join our team. This is a dynamic and challenging role that requires strong research skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work independently.
Main Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank.
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Tissue Bank.
- Oversight of the work undertaken by staff working on the EH&IBD portfolio under the remit of the Royal Devon Tissue Bank.
This is a fixed-term contract for 12 months, and the successful candidate will have the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, supporting research activities and contributing to the development of the Tissue Bank.
Requirements- Varied Band 6 experience or an experienced Band 5 looking to step up.
- Excellent research skills and the ability to work on their own initiative.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
