We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Bank Officer to join our team at the Royal Devon and Exeter NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate and manage the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank
- Assist with the day-to-day management of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Tissue Bank
- Oversight of the work undertaken by staff working on the EH&IBD portfolio under the remit of the Royal Devon Tissue Bank
- Develop and implement effective strategies to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the Tissue Bank
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of projects and studies
- Varied Band 6 experience or an experienced Band 5 looking to step up
- Excellent research skills and the ability to work on their own initiative
