Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tissue Bank Officer to join our team at Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and manage the delivery of studies associated with the portfolio of Gastroenterology and Hepatology Tissue Bank.
  • Assist with the day-to-day management of the Royal Devon University Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust Tissue Bank.
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures.
Requirements
  • Varied Band 6 experience or an experienced Band 5 looking to step up.
  • Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
