The Role:We are seeking a skilled Breakdown Claims Handler to join our team at Jigsaw, a fast-growing and modern business that invests in the development and wellbeing of all colleagues. As a Breakdown Claims Handler, you will be responsible for answering inbound calls from customers wishing to make a claim on their policy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • You will be the primary point of contact for customers experiencing breakdowns or motor incidents, providing verbal support and advice to resolve their claims efficiently.
  • You will work closely with your team to ensure seamless communication and collaboration, delivering a market-leading standard of customer care.
  • You will be responsible for handling a variety of situations, from vehicles that won't start at a home address to roadside breakdowns or road traffic accidents.

Requirements:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively communicate with customers and colleagues.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple calls simultaneously.
  • Flexibility to work Friday evenings until 10pm at the earliest and Saturday or Sunday evening, with other hours flexible to meet department needs.
