About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Night Support Worker to join our team at Look Ahead. As a Night Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enabling individuals with specific needs to manage their tenancies and live independent lives in the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Build supportive relationships with customers and create a positive atmosphere
  • Work collaboratively with the team to handle the service caseload and administrative responsibilities
  • Conduct key work sessions to achieve Support Plan goals
  • Ensure ongoing assessment and management of risks associated with customers
  • Provide support with daily living activities, including practical assistance
  • Support customers to maintain a healthy environment and assist with cleaning and personal hygiene
  • Assist in the recording and reporting of customer incidents
  • Manage customer referrals and complete assessments
  • Develop productive relationships with partner organisations
  • Adhere to lone working protocols and maintain high levels of awareness
  • Involving customers in the design, development, and delivery of the service
  • Encourage and enable tenants to pay their rent and avoid personal debt
  • Ensure Look Ahead Health and Safety policies are adhered to
  • Take on shift leading responsibilities and coordinate shifts
  • Be responsible for the handover of key information between shifts
  • Adhere to all other Look Ahead policies and procedures
  • Engage in learning and development activity to increase knowledge and skills
