This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Qualiteach Ltd as a Child Support Worker in a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Hounslow, West London.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Child Support Worker to support students of both primary and secondary ages with medical needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide individualized support to students with medical needs, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the teaching staff and other support workers to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist students with daily living tasks, such as personal care and mobility, as needed.
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of the PRU's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with students with medical needs, preferably in a PRU or similar setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet the changing needs of the PRU.
  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively, with a strong attention to detail.
