HR Functional Analyst Opportunity at The Telegraph

We are seeking a skilled HR Functional Analyst to enhance our HR systems through effective business analysis, implementation, and ongoing support. This role involves collaboration with both HR and technology professionals to design, deliver, and improve HR systems, contributing to our transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the configuration and deployment of HR systems
  • Oversee the functional components of HR system rollouts
  • Provide guidance on system enhancements and operational capabilities
  • Develop functional specifications and offer system support
  • Monitor industry best practices and recommend enhancements
  • Address user/system challenges and maintain comprehensive documentation
  • Liaise with external partners and deliver end-user assistance

Essential Skills

  • Background in HR Business Operations
  • Familiarity with Ceridian (DayForce) and SaaS HR platforms
  • Competence in creating functional specifications and assessing system performance
  • Skills in stakeholder management and relationship development
  • Expertise in user training and system optimization
  • Strong collaborative and communication abilities

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in functional solution ownership within HR systems
  • Additional HR system knowledge is advantageous
  • HR qualifications and experience with module implementations
