HR Functional Analyst Opportunity at The Telegraph

We are seeking a skilled HR Functional Analyst to enhance our HR systems and processes. This role involves working closely with the Business Systems team to provide expert analysis, implementation, and ongoing support for our HR technology solutions. You will collaborate with both HR professionals and IT specialists to design, implement, and optimize HR systems that align with our strategic transformation initiatives. Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate on the configuration and deployment of HR systems
  • Oversee the functional components of HR system rollouts
  • Provide recommendations for system improvements and features
  • Create functional documentation and assist with system maintenance
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and propose enhancements
  • Address user inquiries and system-related challenges while maintaining comprehensive documentation
  • Liaise with external partners and deliver support to end users

Essential Skills

  • Proven experience in HR Business Operations
  • Familiarity with Ceridian (DayForce) and other SaaS HR platforms
  • Competence in developing functional specifications and evaluating system performance
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management abilities
  • Expertise in user training and system optimization
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills

Desirable Skills

  • Experience in functional ownership of HR systems
  • Additional experience with various HR systems is advantageous
  • Relevant HR qualifications and knowledge of module implementations
