Job Overview

Discover a rewarding opportunity within the Trade and Working Capital Operations Team.

As a Financial Operations Associate, you will collaborate with colleagues across various locations and functions within Global Trade and the associated Technology teams. Your role will involve influencing stakeholders to implement changes, working towards minimizing discrepancies, improving the efficiency of issue resolution, and ultimately aiding in the reduction of financial risks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises daily exception management tasks, offering guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensures prompt and effective resolution of discrepancies.
  • Facilitates regional and global governance discussions with functional partners to maintain accountability and awareness.
  • Partners with technology teams to enhance the reconciliation framework and ensures successful implementation of improvements.
  • Maintains effective communication and governance structures to keep Global Operations management updated on reconciliation statuses, break counts, and potential risk areas.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and data analytics, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Ability to manage functional relationships and drive organizational change.
  • Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues across various locations.
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A proactive approach to risk management, with the capability to identify, communicate, prioritize, and mitigate risks.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in payment processing.
  • Familiarity with Trade Finance products.
  • Background in Nostro/cash reconciliation and governance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau.
