Job Overview

Discover a remarkable opportunity within the Trade and Working Capital Operations Team.

As a Financial Operations Control Specialist, you will engage with colleagues across various locations and functions within Global Trade and associated Technology teams. Your role will involve influencing stakeholders to implement changes, striving to minimize discrepancies, improving the speed of discrepancy resolution, and ultimately contributing to a reduction in financial risk.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervises daily exception management tasks, offering guidance and oversight to team members.
  • Ensures prompt and effective resolution of discrepancies.
  • Facilitates regional and global governance discussions with functional partners to guarantee proper ownership, awareness, and accountability.
  • Collaborates with technology teams to enhance the reconciliation framework and drives these improvements to completion.
  • Maintains effective communication and governance structures to keep Global Operations management updated on reconciliation statuses, break counts, and potential risk areas.
Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, or Product Control.
  • Understanding of business processes and strong data analysis skills, with a keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage functional partners and drive change across the organization.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to work effectively with colleagues across different locations and functions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • A risk-oriented mindset, capable of identifying, communicating, prioritizing, and mitigating risks in the environment.
Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills
  • Experience in payments.
  • Knowledge of Trade Finance products.
  • Familiarity with Nostro/cash reconciliation and governance.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau.
