Job Overview

Discover a rewarding position within the Trade and Working Capital Operations Team.

As a Financial Operations Control Specialist, you will collaborate with colleagues across various locations and functions within Global Trade and associated Technology teams. Your role will involve influencing stakeholders to implement changes, minimizing discrepancies, enhancing the efficiency of exception resolution, and ultimately contributing to a reduction in financial exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise daily exception management tasks, offering guidance and support to team members.
  • Ensure prompt and effective resolution of discrepancies.
  • Facilitate regional and global governance discussions with functional partners to maintain accountability and awareness.
  • Work closely with technology teams to enhance the reconciliation framework and ensure successful implementation of improvements.
  • Manage communication and governance structures to keep Global Operations leadership updated on reconciliation statuses, exception volumes, and potential risk areas.
Essential Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in Accounting, Finance, or Product Control.
  • Strong understanding of business processes and data analytics, with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to manage functional partners and drive organizational change.
  • Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills to effectively engage with colleagues across different locations and functions.
  • Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
  • A proactive risk management mindset, capable of identifying, articulating, prioritizing, and mitigating risks.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
  • Experience in payment processing.
  • Familiarity with Trade Finance products.
  • Knowledge of Nostro/cash reconciliation and governance practices.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Alteryx, and Tableau.
