About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Nostro Pool Associate Lead to join our team at JP Morgan Chase Bank, National Association. As a key member of our Payment Services team, you will play a critical role in delivering operational and strategic support to our Treasury CIO.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cash Position Projections and Analysis: Develop and maintain accurate cash position projections, predictions, and post-cash movement analysis for managed accounts.
  • Cash Movement Process Automation: Work on the automation and enhancement of cash movement processes to improve account data quality, strengthen controls, and address lost revenues, increased costs, and operational inefficiencies.
  • Pool Coverage and Reporting: Achieve global Pool coverage by delivering equivalent capability for WHEM (Western Hemisphere) & APAC (Asia Pacific), and improve the accuracy of the redirect mechanism to enhance transparency and traceability for Line of Business stakeholders.
  • Process Industrialisation: Industrialise the underlying processes and tools used to manage the Pool to achieve sustainability, scalability, and service level optimisation.
  • Pool Reporting and Analysis: Increase the frequency, timeliness, and quality of Pool reporting for all stakeholders, and ensure ongoing accuracy of Pool coverage through rigorous and sustainable analysis of the account population.
  • Data Visualisation and Decision Making: Drive visualisation of data to enable decision making, prioritisation, and continuous improvement.
  • Relationship Building: Build strong relationships with key partners, including Settlement Operations, Finance Controllers, Product Controllers, and Cash Asset Class Controllers.
  • Metric Management: Identify, monitor, and manage key metrics that matter.
  • Collaborative Initiatives: Participate in collaborative initiatives with team members and service partners to simplify, improve, and add value to existing business processes.

  • Cash, Payments, or Finance Experience: Possess experience in cash, payments, or finance.

  • Project Management: Possess execution-focused and risk-aware project management skills, with the ability to articulate clear and workable solutions.
  • Industrialisation of New Processes: Have experience in industrialising new processes.
  • Continuous Service Improvement: Demonstrate a passion for continuous service improvement, creating conditions for identifying and solving process, data, and finance problems.
