Job Overview

Step Teachers is seeking an experienced Caretaker to join our team at a reputable Secondary school in London. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the school premises.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure the school's facilities are clean and well-maintained.
  • Perform basic cosmetic repairs and maintenance tasks as required.
  • Manage and maintain the school's inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
  • Develop and implement effective cleaning schedules to ensure the school's facilities are clean and hygienic.
  • Collaborate with the school's administration team to ensure a smooth and efficient operation.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a school environment as a Caretaker or similar role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including evenings and weekends.
