About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at AC Hotel by Marriott Inverness. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef and ensuring that dishes are prepared and cooked to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the absence of the Head Chef
  • Train and develop the team to maintain high standards of quality, hygiene, and presentation
  • Review and manage inventory, ordering, and waste control
  • Monitor food costs and ensure alignment with budget
  • Develop and implement new menu ideas and dishes
Requirements
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Sous Chef or Executive Sous Chef
  • Fluent in English, with any additional languages an advantage
  • Highly flexible and able to respond creatively to any situation
  • Well-organized, clean, and resistant to stress
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and ordering platforms
