About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Residential Support Worker to join our team at Hexagon Care Services. As a Residential Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to young people in our residential home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide individualized support and care to young people, promoting their physical, emotional, and psychological well-being.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with young people, their families, and other professionals.
  • Contribute to the creation of a safe, supportive, and inclusive living environment.
  • Participate in shift work, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins, to ensure 24/7 care and support.
  • Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Monitor and report any changes in young people's behavior or well-being to the relevant authorities.

Requirements

  • Experience working in a residential care setting, preferably with young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep ins.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality care and support to young people.
