Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Residential Support Worker to join our team at one of our children's homes. This role offers a rewarding opportunity to make a positive difference in the lives of vulnerable young people.
Your Responsibilities
- Provide nurturing care and support to children in our residential setting.
- Create a safe, supportive, and stimulating environment for the children.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as personal hygiene, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Engage in recreational activities and outings to promote the children's well-being and development.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychologists, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the children's progress and care.
Skills and Qualifications
- A genuine passion for working with children and a commitment to their well-being.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
- Experience in a residential childcare setting is desirable but not essential.
- A willingness to undergo training and development opportunities.
