**Job Summary**

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Care and Support Worker to join our Reablement Service team at Wakefield Council. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in their own homes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Deliver person-centered care and support to individuals with disabilities and those recovering from illness or injury
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a comprehensive reablement service, including short-term care, bridging services, and resettlement support
  • Provide emergency care and support response to individuals in need
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to maintain high standards of care

**What We Offer**

  • A competitive salary of £21,000 - £21,000 (FTE) or £11.38 per hour
  • Enhancements for weekend and bank holiday working, plus overtime opportunities
