About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to join our team at Activate Learning's Woodlands Centre. Key Responsibilities
  • Support students with learning disabilities and/or disabilities, some of which are complex, in a 1:1 setting and as part of a team
  • Provide personal care and support, including medical care and training will be provided
  • Work collaboratively with tutors to ensure the delivery of an effective programme of further education
  • Contribute to the development of a creative and innovative approach to motivating learners and delivering support
Requirements
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with students, tutors, and other staff members
  • E-literacy and competence in IT packages, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Publisher
  • A creative approach to motivating learners and an innovative approach to delivering support
  • Experience of working in an FE environment is advantageous but not essential
  • A Level 3 Support Assistant qualification or equivalent is desirable but not essential
