Job Title: SEN Teaching Assistant - L28

Job Description:
Prospero Teaching is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience to work in a SEN based School setting in the L28 area. A successful applicant will have a Teaching Assistant qualification or higher and will have 12 weeks+ of experience working with children in a SEN school setting. Safeguarding training is preferred but not required as training is provided.

As a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience, you will be responsible for leading a group of children in the absence of their teacher, reading, and writing sessions, and will have good behavioural management skills as well as 1 to 1 roles. You will be working in a GOOD OFSTED graded school and will be part of a supportive team.

Requirements:
· Teaching Assistant qualification or higher/equivalent.
· Previous experience working in a UK school.
· Previous experience working in or around an SEN setting.
· Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (desirable however not essential as some training is provided).

Eligibility:
· Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.
· Provide two professional child related references.
