Vision for Education are seeking to appoint a SEND Teaching Assistant to work on a part-time basis at a school in Chester-le-Street (DH3).

**About the role**:
This role is a mixture of 1:1 and small group work within the Upper KS2 classes at school - Years 5 and 6. The support will be with the academic work for pupils, in order to help with closing the gap with their peers. Due to the role being part-time, the appointed TA will be working Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 12:30.

**Requirements**:
To be considered for the role of SEND Teaching Assistant (Part-time) you will:

- Experience of working with primary school aged children
- Experience of working with pupils with SEND
- A passion for the progress of primary school pupils
- An ability to work as part of a team

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:

- Experience of working within a Primary School setting
