SEND Therapist Job Opportunity:

SEND Recruitment seeks a skilled Speech and Language Therapist to fill a crucial role supporting students with complex autism needs. This full-time position involves collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to deliver targeted interventions and promoting effective communication among students with diverse requirements.

Key Job Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement evidence-based speech, language, and communication programs catering to the unique needs of each student.
  2. Foster strong partnerships with teaching staff, therapists, and other professionals to co-create personalized learning and therapy plans.
  3. Utilize expertise in autism, communication disorders, and sensory integration to inform therapeutic approaches and advise teaching staff on strategies to enhance communication development.
  4. Contribute to the growth and development of the multi-disciplinary team through collaboration, knowledge sharing, and joint professional development opportunities.


Essential Qualifications and Skills:
  • HCPC registered Speech and Language Therapist with experience in SEN settings.
  • Strong knowledge of autism, communication disorders, and sensory integration principles.
  • Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, with ability to communicate effectively across disciplines.

Salary Range: £40,000 - £55,000 per year.
