About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Work Placement Coordinator. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for effectively engaging with local and regional employers to source work experience opportunities and industry placements for our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure work experience opportunities for our learners
  • Ensure the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of placements are meaningful, relevant, and sustained to a high quality
  • Develop excellent working relationships with students, employers, and colleagues
  • Understand and equip students with the employability skills needed to undertake a successful placement
  • Work collaboratively with the team to achieve targets and deliver high-quality services

About You:

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about supporting students to gain the skills, experiences, and networks they need to be successful in their chosen careers. You will have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent and at least two years' experience in a similar working environment, or experience of work within the industry sectors related to our students' courses.

Requirements:

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop business opportunities and communicate with a range of audiences
  • Comfortable working in a target-driven environment and able to work flexibly to meet the changing demands of a busy service
  • Accountable for work placements across several curriculum areas
  • Experience in delivery group work to students/young people and supporting students in developing soft skills and work-ready behaviours
