Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Work Placement Officer to join our team at Philosophy Education. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and securing work experience placements for full-time learners attending our 6th form colleges.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers, staff, and students to ensure the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of work placements are relevant and student-focused.
  • Work directly with students to ensure they are well-prepared for placements and develop their employability skills.
  • Collaborate with the college's business support team to identify and secure work experience opportunities.
  • Travel to various college sites to provide support and guidance to students and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and improvement of the college's work-experience provision.
Requirements
  • A Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
  • At least two years' experience in a similar working environment.
  • A track record of securing work experience placements.
  • Experience of working with external agencies and identifying vacancies.
  • Experience of working with young people.
