About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Work Placement Coordinator to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for engaging with local and regional employers to source work experience opportunities and industry placements for our learners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with employers to secure work experience opportunities
  • Coordinate the preparation, delivery, and evaluation of placements to ensure high-quality experiences for our learners
  • Work closely with students, employers, and colleagues to ensure successful placements
  • Develop and implement strategies to equip students with the employability skills needed for successful placements

About You

We are looking for a dynamic individual who is passionate about supporting students to gain the skills, experiences, and networks they need to succeed in their chosen careers. You will have a Level 3 qualification or equivalent and at least two years' experience in a similar working environment or industry sectors related to our students' courses.

  • Excellent networking and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop business opportunities and communicate with a range of audiences
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service
  • Knowledge of the local and regional labour market is an advantage
