Tempting Recruitment is collaborating with a local authority in Hampshire to find a skilled Placement Services Coordinator.

This role is a temporary contract lasting between 3 to 6 months, offering a competitive hourly rate of £16.


Working Pattern:
Monday to Friday /

Flexible Work Arrangement:
Hybrid working model

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Manage referrals from practitioners and secure suitable support packages/placements.
2. Access social care records of vulnerable adults to ensure appropriate support.
3. Engage directly with vulnerable adults and their representatives to provide information on secured support and guidance on the Placement Service's actions.
4. Accurately draft individual contracts to facilitate timely payments to providers, including one-off arrangements or modifications to existing contracts.
5. Maintain effective communication with practitioners, budget holders, providers, commissioners, and finance teams to resolve queries swiftly.
6. Report any identified gaps or trends in the market when sourcing support packages or placements.

JOB REQUIREMENTS
1. Previous experience in a local authority or similar organization is essential.
2. Ability to communicate confidentially and courteously with clients, adhering to customer care principles.
3. Effective liaison with practitioners, provider agencies, and other professionals.
4. Strong organizational skills to prioritize workload and ensure prompt contract creation for timely payments.
