Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Office Operations Manager to join our team. As the first point of contact for new customer enquiries, you will be responsible for overseeing the efficient functioning of the office, ensuring that no task falls through the cracks. You will channel direct communications with the company directors, delegate tasks and duties as required to office staff members, and evaluate the work performance of office staff members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the efficient functioning of the office, ensuring that no task falls through the cracks.
  • Channel direct communications with the company directors, delegate tasks and duties as required to office staff members.
  • Evaluate the work performance of office staff members.
  • Manage the Engineers' diaries, scheduling appointments and following up open jobs until completion to ensure smooth operations.
  • Use the CRM software to track appointments and keep customer information.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in office administration or management.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Organisational skills, capable of handling scheduling, record-keeping, and managing office resources efficiently.
  • Communication skills, able to convey information clearly and effectively.
  • Problem-solving abilities, able to address and resolve issues as they arise.
  • Technical proficiency, familiar with industry-specific software, general office software, and administrative tools.
  • Leadership and team management skills, able to motivate, guide, and support staff.
