Pharmaceutical Sales Opportunity

Home-Based Sales Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced sales professional to join our client's commercial team as a Pharmaceutical Sales Representative. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in selling pharmaceutical products to NHS hospitals and a strong understanding of the principles of marketing pharmaceuticals.

The successful candidate will be responsible for selling a portfolio of products to procurement/purchasing pharmacists, surgical/theatre pharmacists, operating department practitioners, and endoscopy unit nurses. They will be accountable for achieving sales budgets for selected products by convincing hospitals to switch from current products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet target customers face-to-face and engage with them by phone and video conferencing to deliver an approved sales story.
  • Accountable for achieving sales budget for selected products by convincing hospitals to switch from current products.
  • Responsible for assigned territory and achieving agreed activity targets, including contact rates and meticulous addition of customer call information onto the company database.
  • Proactively seek and develop sales opportunities to drive growth in targeted hospitals.
  • Initiate, develop, and support relationships with relevant key customer groups, where necessary linking different people in target hospitals.
  • Represent the company in a professional manner in line with company ethos, supplying better critical care medicines.
  • Comply with applicable medical devices regulations, medicinal product promotion codes, and company health and safety procedures.

About the Company:

Our client is a specialty pharmaceutical company focused on supplying the UK NHS and independent hospitals with better critical care medicines. They are looking for three individuals to sell into the regions of the North West England, including Sheffield, Lancashire, Cheshire, and Yorkshire.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable experience and success in selling competitive pharmaceutical products into NHS hospitals.
  • Strong understanding of the principles of marketing pharmaceuticals, including rules and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
