We are a leading specialist lender of consumer finance, seeking a passionate and results-oriented Customer Loan Specialist to join our growing team.
About the Role:
In this exciting role, you'll play a pivotal part in bringing new customers on board. You'll be responsible for completing customer due diligence, assessing affordability, and guiding customers through their loan options.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verify customer identity and income through thorough due diligence checks.
- Assess financial affordability by analyzing income and expenditure.
- Conduct telephone consultations to establish accurate monthly outgoings.
- Provide clear explanations and complete quotations to empower customers to make informed decisions.
- Actively progress applications through outbound calls.
- Handle customer and dealer inquiries regarding application status.
Requirements:
- A confident and articulate communicator with strong written and verbal skills.
- A natural problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
- Experienced in a fast-paced, outbound calling environment (ideal).
- Proven ability to work independently and manage your time effectively.
- A team player with a supportive and inclusive approach.
- Experience in a regulated environment (a plus).
- Knowledge of the sub-prime market (highly desirable).
- Minimum GCSE level qualification or equivalent.
