An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to join the team in a key role within the 24/7 Mental Health First Response service, where you will be the first point of contact for individuals who may require urgent mental health support.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary mental health care team, comprising various professionals.
  2. Provide mental health support 24 hours a day and 7 days a week, demonstrating flexibility regarding working hours.
  3. Have access to information regarding local services that individuals can be introduced to, ensuring appropriate and continued support for callers requiring more than what can be offered by the Mental Health Practitioner.
  4. Be trauma-informed and aware of the social determinants of mental health when developing a support plan with each individual accessing the service.

Requirements:

  1. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  3. Knowledge of local mental health services and resources.
  4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
