Job Overview

You will report directly to the Head of Operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Head of Operations and Head of Soft Services to formulate business strategies that align with client requirements.
  • Foster innovation and continuous enhancement of personnel, systems, processes, and services.
  • Conduct regular meetings with clients to assess and enhance service delivery.
  • Oversee the financial performance of the sites under your jurisdiction.
  • Build strong relationships with clients to reinforce a positive image of the company.
  • Manage service delivery to ensure efficiency and implement regular reviews; adopt innovative approaches for ongoing improvement.
  • Communicate new service procedures and initiatives to staff and supervisors to promote best practices across contracts.
  • Ensure timely production of monthly reports and other documentation requested by stakeholders and clients.
  • Maintain and update site information in accordance with company procedures and Service Level Agreements, ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations.
  • Actively promote a culture of Health and Safety.
  • Prepare quotations and financial information for both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Ensure supervisors complete all administrative tasks efficiently and on time.
  • Manage employee performance, including conducting reviews and addressing attendance and conduct issues in line with company policies.
  • Recruit and oversee operatives in accordance with company guidelines.
  • Effectively manage the company’s time and attendance system.
  • Process wages for operatives while adhering to budget constraints.
  • Oversee stock and equipment levels to meet service delivery requirements within budget.
  • Deliver training on-site to your team as necessary.
  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage during holidays, absences, or sickness.
  • Be flexible with working hours, including occasional weekend work as needed.
  • Participate in an on-call rota outside of regular hours.
Ideal Candidate Profile
  • Must be available on-site from 5am (when most teams commence work) - Essential for the role
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and/or Spanish along with excellent verbal and written English - Essential for the role
  • Proven success in a similar position managing multi-site contracts for outsourced soft services.
  • Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire team members across multiple locations.
  • Demonstrated experience in building relationships for multi-site contracts.
  • Experienced in spearheading company initiatives and managing change processes.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with excellent client relationship management abilities.
  • Capable of prioritizing tasks and meeting tight deadlines.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Competent in utilizing various IT applications and systems, including MS Office and Electronic Staff Management systems.

The position offers a competitive salary of £42,099 along with an excellent benefits package, which includes:
