About the Role:

New College Swindon is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Team Leader to join our team. As a Senior Team Leader, you will be responsible for leading the Prince's Trust team and Achieve Programmes, ensuring planning, administration, and delivery are completed to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with referral partners and College departments to identify suitable candidates for the Prince's Trust programmes.
  2. Develop and implement engaging materials and activities to challenge and develop participants, inspiring them to take control of their lives.
  3. Monitor and report on participant progress and outcomes, ensuring accurate record-keeping and adherence to College policies.
  4. Manage day-to-day programme operations, ensuring Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are achieved and programme integration with College services is maintained.
  5. Champion the work of the College, promoting programme integration and collaboration with other departments.

Requirements:

  1. Passion for making a positive impact on young people's lives.
  2. Experience in working with young people, preferably in a teaching or youth work capacity.
  3. Proven leadership skills, with experience in managing a team.
  4. Awareness of the challenges facing young people in the local community.
  5. Inclusive, non-judgmental, and inspirational approach to helping young people.
  6. Ability to juggle delivery and paperwork, with effective methods for managing workload.
  7. Mental resilience, with the capacity to ask for help when needed.
  8. Think creatively and bring innovative ideas to the role.
