About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Programme Manager to lead our Compliance team in delivering a transformation programme for our compliance platforms. As a key member of our Product leadership team, you will be responsible for shaping our company to be a product-led organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the compliance activities across multiple product domains, overseeing 2-3 product managers and 3-5 Business Analysts. Manage recruitment in the team as necessary.
- Develop and maintain the Compliance projects roadmap, ensuring stakeholder buy-in to prioritise engineering backlogs and maximise value delivered. Deliver successful projects against regulatory deadlines.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, clients, 3rd parties, and internal departments to capture business requirements, facilitating the delivery of scalable, robust, secure, and compliant solutions that maximise business benefits.
- Participate in the Product leadership team to shape the company's product strategy and direction.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in the financial compliance domain, covering processes and tools related to transaction monitoring, screening, case management, and KYC.
- Extensive experience in Programme Management, leading and motivating a wide team of multi-disciplinary resources to achieve a common goal.
- Experience dealing with regulators and auditors in a compliance context is beneficial.
- People management experience of at least 5 people.
- Ability to articulate key deliverables, explain their role, and demonstrate the value delivered to the business.
- Highly organised, with experience working within an Agile framework.
- Experience working with cloud-based services and SaaS/PaaS providers.
- Experience of operational process improvements.
- Ability to use data to make informed decisions.
