Overview: Booth House operates as a Salvation Army Lifehouse, offering 50 en-suite accommodations for individuals over 18 facing homelessness. Our in-house team is seeking a dedicated Programme Manager to enhance our two Social Enterprises: The Sandwich People and Recycles.
As a proactive and enthusiastic Programme Manager, your primary role will be to design and implement high-quality services for our Social Enterprise clientele. Many individuals you will support may have additional challenges, including mental health issues or substance dependencies. We are looking for a Programme Manager who can effectively serve the public while also empowering our residents to engage in this service and potentially become volunteers.
You should possess a strong passion for facilitating positive transformations in people's lives, demonstrating confidence in both independent and collaborative work settings. Your role will involve interaction with various stakeholders, including professional visitors and the general public, while being sensitive to the needs of our volunteers who are experiencing homelessness. This position requires regular daytime hours, with on-call duties that may extend to evenings or weekends in emergency situations. A valid driving license is a prerequisite for this role. All candidates must align with the mission and values of The Salvation Army.
