We are seeking a Programme Coordinator to manage the successful execution of our initiatives on a part-time, fixed-term contract.

The Heritage Skills Initiative was established to enhance the development of craft skills within the heritage sector through funded apprenticeships.

This initiative will span several years, offering numerous apprenticeship opportunities and various paid placements.

Work Environment

Our organization is more expansive and intricate than it may seem. We are driven by passionate individuals who aspire to achieve more. Our commitment is to serve all communities for generations to come.

Your primary work location will be our main office, with flexibility regarding your base at other times. Expect to engage with various National Trust locations for a significant portion of your workweek, details of which will be clarified during the interview process.

Please note that travel may be necessary, including occasional overnight stays.

Responsibilities

As part of the People Partnering and Development Team, you will be responsible for creating a comprehensive project roadmap for the upcoming years. Your role will involve ensuring the integration of all project components while managing the project's governance.

You will identify and mitigate risks associated with the programme's delivery, oversee financial management, and ensure timely reporting.

Additionally, you will develop and manage enrichment opportunities for apprentices, collaborating with the Head of Heritage Skills to identify relevant projects that enhance their learning experience.

By working closely with various leads, you will ensure that both internal and external stakeholders are engaged, informed, and adequately supported to deliver the programme effectively.
