Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced SEN Coordinator to lead and manage the SEN provision at our outstanding school in Croydon. The successful candidate will work closely with staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver high-quality SEN services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the SEN provision to ensure all students receive the support they need to thrive academically and socially.
  • Work closely with staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavior support plans (BSPs).
  • Collaborate with parents and external agencies to ensure seamless transitions and effective communication.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities, health services, and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of school policies and procedures related to SEN.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of SEN provision and make recommendations for improvement.

Requirements:

  • Previousexperience as an SEN Coordinator or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of SEN policies and procedures.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Experience working with students with a range of special educational needs.
  • A clear DBS check.
  • Legal right to work in the UK.
