Brackenberry Ltd is collaborating with a Local Authority to recruit a SEN Coordinator for a 6-month contract, with a strong possibility of extension based on client needs. Interested candidates are encouraged to submit their CV for consideration.

Compensation: £290.00 per Day

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct the statutory assessment process for EHC needs assessments and issue EHC Plans within the required twenty-week timeframe, adhering to The Children and Families Act 2014 and the SEN Code of Practice January 2015, along with relevant case law.
  • Oversee and manage statutory and non-statutory casework for an assigned caseload, including complex cases and those involving appeal hearings, under the guidance of the SEN Team Manager and Senior EHC Coordinator, ensuring compliance with legal and internal deadlines.
  • Promote the effective use of technology, such as the case management system, to document, track, and evaluate operational processes, enhancing performance management and informing business intelligence.
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates in all relevant systems to ensure clarity and consistency.
  • Uphold client confidentiality in accordance with the Council's policies.
