- Possession of the National Award for SEN Coordination, or a commitment to complete the SEN NPQ within three years of appointment.
- Significant and successful teaching experience within the Early Years age range, showcasing a dedication to Early Years success.
- A demonstrated history of effectively supporting children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
- Experience collaborating with both internal and external stakeholders regarding statutory obligations for SEND students.
- Training as a Designated Safeguarding Officer or a willingness to undergo this training to serve as a Deputy DSO.
- A strong commitment to partnering with staff, parents, and the community to foster inclusion and equity for all students.
