Essential Qualifications:
―Maths and English GCSE Grade 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)
―IT or Admin GCSE 4/C or equivalent (Level 2)
―Degree or relevant qualification in the subject area

Essential Skills:
―Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and G Suite applications
―Solid understanding of database management
―Familiarity with various administrative systems such as Arbor, School Ping, and Prologue
―Ability to prioritize and manage workload efficiently
―Highly organized with excellent time management skills
―Strong communication abilities
―Capable of taking accurate messages and following up as needed
―Ability to perform under pressure while maintaining a professional demeanor
―Team-oriented with a collaborative spirit
―Previous administrative experience
―Knowledge of the Special Educational Needs (SEN) code of practice
―Experience in an educational setting (Provision or Local Authority)

Key Responsibilities:
―Oversee trackers related to the SEN department and applicants, including open evenings, SEN pupil lists, exam access arrangements, application tracking, enrollment tracking, high needs tracking, and funding tracking.
―Coordinate professional and parent meetings
―Collect and organize available SEN records, EHCPs, reports, and access arrangements from previous educational institutions and file them appropriately
―Conduct audits of high needs learner folders to ensure they contain all relevant information regarding the learner's additional needs (EHCPs and reports)
―Manage and audit EHCP and ALS learner folders to ensure completeness regarding the learner's additional needs
―Maintain the open evening tracker and participate in enrollment to assist with SEN data
―Schedule initial assessments/BKSBs following open evenings and upon request
―Assist with funding forms, Form 8s, and Form 9s, and coordinate interviews
―Handle telephone communications to the SEN team and relay pertinent information
―Support with access arrangements and testing schedules
―Perform ad-hoc maintenance of the SEN office and assist in various areas, including the consultation process, initial assessments, EHCP application lists, SEN/ALS pupil lists/plans, SEN folders, annual reviews, AA testing, staff registers, meeting arrangements, parent engagement, interviews, and risk assessments.
Salary and Work Schedule:
―35 hours per week across 5 days for 52 weeks a year
―25 days of annual leave plus UK bank holidays
―Permanent full-time position
―Annual salary range of £30,000 - £33,000 based on experience.
