Job Summary:

The Regional Business Manager will be responsible for selling a range of electronic components used in various consumer and industrial electronics. This is a field-based technical sales role that requires face-to-face meetings and video consultations to understand clients' needs. The successful candidate will have a strong track record in field sales, a new business approach, and the ability to learn a technical product.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with Design Engineers, Applications Engineers, and Procurement teams within OEMs across the Sussex, Kent, and SE London regions.
  • Utilize technical drawings to specify products into new designs and work on long-term stock plans.
  • Act as a project manager across potentially lengthy sales processes that can last between 6 months and 3 years.
  • Maintain at least 10 customer interactions on a weekly basis.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record in field sales selling a product.
  • New business approach and ability to learn a technical product.
  • Commercial and technical discussion skills.
  • Ability to read technical drawings.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Full and clean driving license.
